Chef Emmanuel Langlade
is a native of Aix-en-Provence, France. After training at Bonnevaine
in Marseille he worked at restaurants in Nottingham England,
Paris France and Washington, D.C. A brief return to France found
him at the Royal Club Evian before returning to the United States
as a sous chef at Austin, Texas' Chez Nous. After moving to Kansas
City in 2000, Emmanuel was a partner in opening Cafe Des Ami
in Parkville. Together with his wife, Megan, he opened Aixios
French Restaruant in August of 2001.
Active members of Kansas City Originals, a group
of independent restaurant owners in the Kansas City area, Megan
and Emmanuel work to bring their love of fine dining to everyone
in KC.
